States and municipalities face a unique set of obstacles, including budget and communication constraints. In 2010, the State of West Virginia partnered with ARI in an attempt to overcome some of those obstacles – and it has succeeded in saving $1.6 million as a result. Read more

In its first full month of sales, the newly redesigned 2013 Ford Escape has apparently done very well. Ford sold about 11,000 new Escapes in June, about 40 percent of the company’s 28,500 total Escape sales for the year, with sales up 28 percent in June 2012 over June 2011. C-MAX Hybrid Takes Aim at Prius V |
Ford has projected that its C-MAX Hybrid, scheduled to launch this fall, will achieve 47 mpg city – at least 3 mpg better than the Toyota Prius v – with more performance and technology and at a $1,300 lower base price. Small hybrids account for 65 percent of all hybrid sales. And Ford expects about half of C-MAX buyers to be conquest customers trading in competitive models.
